In the Spotlight with Guido Rasi

Please join us for an inspiring conversation with Professor Guido Rasi, the former Director of the European Medicines Agency which oversees the approval and safety monitoring of medicines. Amongst many other activities, Professor Rasi oversaw the launch of the Covid-19 vaccination program throughout Europe in close cooperation with the European Commission and other key industry players,

Professor Rasi looks forward to sharing anecdotes and lessons learned from this very eventful period. He also looks forward to sharing perspectives and exchanging thoughts with students, entrepreneurs and anyone interested to interact with one of the most seasoned and respected persons in biomedical innovation.

Op 13 november komt Professor Guido Rasi naar ons toe. Hij was jarenlang directeur van het Europees Geneesmiddelenbureau (EMA), de organisatie die in Europa gaat over de veiligheid en goedkeuring van medicijnen. Tijdens de coronapandemie speelde hij een belangrijke rol bij het ontwikkelen en het lanceren van het vaccinatieprogramma in Europa.

Professor Rasi zal vertellen over zijn ervaringen in deze bijzondere tijd en wat we daarvan kunnen leren. Ook gaat hij graag in gesprek met studenten, ondernemers en andere geïnteresseerden. Het is een mooie kans om iemand te ontmoeten die veel weet over medicijnen, innovatie en gezondheid!
